And here's Attila's close-up . . . notice walnuts lying in background that he has forgotten to pick up. Posted by Picasa

The eyes....they are all knowing - but they are nothing like Antoinette's. Looking at her eyes is like looking into Holmes' eyes. Such love, such devotion, such mischief, such fun. Goodness, I have tried to avoid the pain and not think about him and I'm successful for many months. Then I check my favourite site and find a soul sister photograph that brings him back to life, and I want to......Thank Antoinette for reminding me of a beloved family member, and reminding me that one shouldn't, couldn't, cannot forget, nor should one want to forget. She is beautiful, as was Holmes. Thank you once again for the memories..

WhatTheH,

I was thinking about Holmes the other day while I was picking up nuts! All that time alone in silence, and I started obsessing about Holmes! And thinking that you need to find another dog.

Animals really know the path to OUR souls . . . and that's why we need them in our lives.
